We're delighted to announce that the latest Edinburgh Comedy Award winner, Russell Kane will be hosting the
AOP Awards on 9 June.
Russell describes himself as 'a shy pikey from Enfield', but in truth, he is a multi-talented writer and performer who has established himself as one the best comics in the UK today.
Aside from
winning comedy’s most prestigious award , Russell is currently on a sell-out national tour with his award winning show ‘Smokescreens and Castles’ Russell also rejoined ITV2’s ‘
I’m A Celebrity...’ presenting team last year, broadcasting live every night.
Previously, he presented
‘Freak Like Me’, a 6 part series for BBC3, wrote and performed the
Fakespeare series, and made an acclaimed appearance on BBC One’s flagship live comedy show Live at the Apollo as well as a regular appearances on ITV's Comedy Rocks.
