Rubicon Project launches in Germany

Rubicon Project
The Rubicon Project has entered the German market by opening an office in Hamburg.

Under the management of its new Director Publisher Development, Nina Taubenreuther, the Rubicon Project now offers German premium publishers the opportunity to use its worldwide sales channels to monetise their inventory in a much more secure, effective and efficient way.

Its centrepiece is Rubicon’s high-performance technology and data platform, engineered to accelerate digital publishers’ advertising revenue. This gives premium publishers and marketers the best possible overview and complete control of their inventory, enabling them to sell each advertising contact at the maximum price.

Taubenreuther’s previous positions include Director Publisher Services at AOL Advertising and Advertising.com.

Backed by more than $42 million in investors’ capital, the Rubicon Project recorded annual growth of 270 percent, and successfully entered new markets on all five continents in 2009 alone. In Europe, the digital advertising technology provider has had operations in the UK since 2009 and in France since March 2010.

The company has been working with German publishers since early 2009, which has led to the opening of the Hamburg office. Founded as a pioneer in ad network optimization in 2007, the Rubicon Project is now one of two internationally leading platforms in terms of total worldwide user reach. The company partners with leading publishers and marketers around the world. Internationally renowned customers such as Virgin Media, CareerBuilder and the Washington Post/Newsweek rely on the advantages of the Rubicon Project’s complete solution to efficiently optimise their yield management.

Taubenreuther, 30, is a business graduate with wide-ranging expertise in online marketing and publisher support. Prior to joining the Rubicon Project, she was Director Publisher Services at AOL Advertising/Advertising.com. Taubenreuther also previously worked at the Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft (BVDW) e.V., Germany’s association for the digital economy.
