Rubicon Targets Further Growth in Mobile Advertising Automation

Rubicon project has set its sites on further growth in the mobile advertising automation sector with the appointment of a new Head of Mobile for EMEA PaulGmarkets.  Paul Gubbins, previously of StrikeAD, will be responsible for helping leading publishers across the regions monitise their mobile advertising inventory as well as further developing relationships with agency trading desks, mobile DSPs and mobile-focused ad networks. Speaking on his new appointment, Gubbins said, “Rubicon Project works with publishers that collectively reach over ninety per cent of the online audience. Some publishers are reporting up to 50% of their audience accessing their content via mobile devices so I am really looking forward to working with both our publishers and demand partners across Europe to develop the premium private marketplaces of tomorrow that will deliver increased revenue for mobile publishers.” Last year, Rubicon Project acquired San Francisco-based MobSmith and launched REVV for Mobile, which enables publishers to sell mobile ad inventory through both direct and indirect sales channels.
