Focus on Premium Content Drives Revenue Growth for PubMatic

PubMatic, the Real Time Bidding (RTB) platform provider that helps publishers to monetise their digital assets, today published impressive Q1 financial KMresults, citing its focus on mobile and programmatic premium content as a key driving force behind the company’s success. Results include an 18,000% year on year increase in publisher revenue in the area of Private Marketplace (PMP), with Kirk McDonald, PubMatic’s President also singling out mobile as a key area for growth: "We started focusing [on mobile] about a year and a quarter ago, [and] we've seen a huge growth in that adoption. More publishers are pushing their mobile inventory in this direction, which bodes well" for the future.” McDonald also notes that publishers have taken a "lean forward" approach towards programmatic advertising, saying that even the language within the publishing industry has changed from speaking about it secondary to more integrated and hands-on.
