AOP is calling for entries to the 2007 AOP Online Publishing Awards, reflecting industry change with four new awards: use of video, best podcast, digital creativity and online community 2007.
Now in their sixth year, the Awards are firmly established as the showcase for the best the digital publishing industry has to offer, attracting entries from the entire spectrum of online publishers, from the biggest consumer brands to specialist business titles.
The deadline for entries will be 27 July, and the Awards will be presented at a celebratory black tie dinner at the London Hilton, Park Lane on 3 October, following the AOP Online Publishing Conference 2007.
Other prizes up for grabs include Launch 2007, Online sales team of the year, Design and usability and Innovation, as well as awards in both Consumer and Business categories for Website of the year, Editorial team and Online publisher 2007.
Last year’s winners included the Associated Northcliffe Digital team which won the AOP award for Consumer Online Publisher of the year; TopGear.com, published by BBC Worldwide, which scooped the coveted award for Consumer Website 2006; and E-Consultancy, which secured awards for Online publisher - Business, and Editorial team – Business.
