McDonald will be giving a keynote speech “Art, Science and Soul: How to Balance Your Sales Channels in a Programmatic Ag
e”, discussing his belief that PMP and first party data enabled targeting are the wave of the future for both PC and mobile, and that enlightened publishers will execute programmatically informed by the human touch.
At Time Inc, McDonald brought together the company’s digital assets to deliver audience and brand solutions to clients. Before that he was CEO of the Fortune|Money Group, where he oversaw worldwide advertising sales and integrated marketing. Prior to that he was senior vice president of sales, marketing and client services for DRIVEpm and Atlas. In addition, he spent nine years at CNET, where he was the senior vice president of network sales.
