Improve Digital appoints Donald Hamilton as Chief Revenue Officer

Donald HamiltonImprove Digital, the European sell side platform, has hired Donald Hamilton, for the new position of Chief Revenue Officer. Donald's previous roles include UK Managing Director at Wunderloop (now Audience Science), UK Managing Director at sales house AdLink and Director at Nielsen Claritas.  He will be based in Improve Digital’s London office and oversee sales, strategy and revenue generation for the company.  “Donald is well-known throughout the industry for his comprehensive understanding of the data and digital marketing landscape,” explains Joëlle Frijters, CEO and Co-Founder of Improve Digital.  “He has an impeccable track record in the industry, and his experience of growing and developing enterprises across Europe is a perfect match for Improve Digital’s business.” “The European display advertising optimisation market is seeing major growth, creating healthy potential for players with the right technology,” says Donald.  “Improve Digital was ‘born and bred’ in Europe and has since focussed tirelessly on building a team of local experts in each country in which it operates.  Publishers therefore benefit from in-depth knowledge of their region combined with a European technology that helps them to maximise their revenues and be in control.” Donald was one of the speakers at AOP’s New Rules of Revenue event last year – members can download his presentation, ‘The role of audience data in generating display revenues for publishers’.
