If you haven't entered or been to the AOPs before here are just five of the many fantastic reasons to enter. 1. Measure your achievements against the best in the industry
The AOP Awards attract hundreds of entries from across the premium publishing industry. To be shortlisted, let alone picked as a winner, means that your entry stands as an example of the best the industry has to offer. 2. Get noticed
The digital world moves at an extraordinary pace, and sometimes you can miss genuinely groundbreaking work, or forget about projects that previously caught your eye in the whirl of new developments. Sometimes too the best work goes on under the radar. The AOP Awards showcase the most significant, creative and innovative work produced by premium publishers in the judging year. 3. Earn the admiration of your peers
Winning an AOP Award, or even being shortlisted, means you join an exclusive club. Membership can’t be bought, only granted by a jury of experts from within the premium publishing industry itself. Being a member of that club means your peers have recognised what you’re capable of. 4. Reward your team
Apart from the categories that specifically recognise individual excellence, the majority of AOP Awards are all about teamwork. Even just entering shows your team how highly you think of their work. 5. Come to a great party
Of course, you don’t have to enter the awards to come to the awards evening, but being on the shortlist certainly gives the ceremony an extra crackle of excitement. And even if you eventually come away empty-handed, there’s always the festivities of the best after-party in the industry to make it a night to remember. Entries cost £99+VAT per category and the closing date for entries is 14th March 2014.
