Digiday and AOP Partnership

AOP are delighted to be partnering with the US Authority on Digital Media, Marketing and Advertising, Digiday, for their first European Publishing Summit taking place in Barcelona, Spain on the 2-4 June. AOP will be hosting an event for delegates as part of the summit on the evening of the 3rd of June.

The Digiday Publishing Summit Europe, held at the W Barcelona, will gather top international publishers to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing publishers today. Executives from BuzzFeed, Forbes, The Huffington Post, Hearst Magazines, The Guardian, CBS Interactive, Trinity Mirror and others will share case studies from their recent experiments embracing digital.

The Summit will focus on five key trends that publishers today should be focused on: the rise of programmatic, the shift to native, mobile strategy, diversified revenue streams and platform distribution.

IAB lifts advisory on trading on Viewable Impressions

AOP as part of the cross industry workgroup on viewability took part in the packed Town Hall event at IAB offices this week following the IAB announcement and attended by AOP members, other publishers, agencies, clients and tech companies

Tim Cain, MD of AOP said: “We see the importance of a standard for viewable impressions acting as a benchmark and enabling viewability to be considered as a metric, we would suggest however that discrepancies between vendors in the measurement of viewability is a challenging issue that needs to be resolved to enable discussions around trading on viewable impressions to progress.”
