There is now just one week to go to the AOP Summit on Friday 15th October at the Westminster Bridge Park Plaza.

Programme Update

Kevin Eyres, Managing Director, LinkedIn Europe, joins the B2B Panel, alongside Tim Potter, Managing Director Business Publishing, Centaur Media and Mike Butcher, Editor, TechCrunch Europe, in a session now moderated by Douglas McCabe, Media Analyst, Enders Analysis.

Greg Beitchman, Global Editor, Reuters News Agency will feature on 'Show me the Money', a session focussed on diversifying publisher revenues, with John Butler, Head of Communications & Media, dunnhumby and Gurtej Sandhu, Digital Director, The Times. This panel's moderator will be Robert Andrews, UK Editor, ContentNext.

Also announced in the past week, BBC Worldwide Strategy Director David Moody will deliver a keynote on Creating New Revenues Around Content.

The event also features a panel of industry leaders comprising Google, Guardian, Global and Future Publishing, chaired by Kate Silverton, as well as keynotes from Unilever and a Design expert and TED fellow - read the latest updated programme.

Further panels on the day will tackle the state of editorial, including the implications, potential and pitfalls around editorial and commercial collaboration, with Chris Barr, Senior Editorial Director, Yahoo, Matt Kelly, Digital Content Director, Mirror Group, Kelly Wearmouth, Head of MSN Sales, Microsoft Advertising and moderated by Dominic Collins, VP UK Portal & Audience Business Unit, Orange.

Another key area for AOP member companies is technology and product development, hence the fourth panel on the day: World Class Tech: putting product at the core of your business. Moderator Patrick Fuller, Group Director, Haymarket will be joined by Kelly Waters, Web Technology Director, IPC Media, Jonathan Mitchell, UK Country Manager, Spotify, Stephen Dunn, Head of Technology Strategy, Guardian and a final speaker to be confirmed very soon.
