We heard presentations from Malcolm Coles of Trinity Mirror, Robin Pembrooke, BBC, Jonny Kaldor, Kaldor Ltd, Phil Hilton, ShortList Media, and Matt Kelly, Director of Sol361 who acted as moderator of the event. The presentations were extremely well received, particularly that of our host, whose ‘Six Questions Publishers should Be Asking’ analysis of the modern industry featured in the Media Briefing yesterday Pete Wootton, Managing Director of Dennis Interactive, told us why he thought it was one of the best AOP Forums we have ever staged: “The multi-channel editorial forum was excellent. The speakers gave some really interesting insight and perspective and there was a lively debate from the floor afterwards. I definitely took some actions points and ideas for my business and the whole session was the best event I’ve been to this year.” “Best event I have been to this year” is high praise indeed, and this was reiterated by the kind words bestowed upon it by mobile Marketing Magazine, whose write-up on the forum you can read here. All in all it was a fantastic afternoon’s programme and many thanks to all of those who attended to make the event so unique and wide-reaching throughout the industry.
