Tim Pollard

"Tim stands out in the way he nails commercial and editorial objectives. Here’s how: In April 2008, CAR Magazine published a special issue for Porsche’s 60th anniversary. Tim developed a brilliant Porsche multimedia package to complement the magazine.

Most creative was a Porsche video game, backed up by brilliant video content, a poll ranking users’ favourite all-time Porsches, blogs about Porsche and archive content, plus stunning wallpaper downloads. The result? A really engaged audience who delivered big page impressions, and went on to buy the magazine, making the issue our best-seller of 2008."

"Michael is an inspirational editor. As well as driving the success of Flightglobal, Michael has also played in key role in the company-wide project to deliver a new platform to power all of RBI's websites, helping to shape the requirements and to ensure that the new tools are fit for purpose.

He really is the model for the 21st century website editor."

He generates pride and excitement in the team he works with which is evident in projects such as the NME site redesign, a project which Anthony led and which saw startling results. Later in the year he added the editorial leadership of Mousebreaker.com to his list of roles and proved his versatility by working just as well with game developers as editors, writers and web site developers.”
