Mobile first; the need for scale; the role of data
. These will be three of the key themes forming the agenda of the AOP’s annual conference on 3 October.
This year’s conference is all about the opportunities and challenges facing premium publishers. It will look at the the ways publishers’ relationships with such key groups as audiences and media agencies are changing. It will look at the transformative role of data, from customer insight to programmatic trading. And it will look at the impact of all these changes on publishers themselves and how they structure their businesses.
As well as asking publishing experts to share their experiences and insights, the event will also bring other perspectives to bear on the industry, asking mobile specialists, media agencies and start-ups to share their views on where premium publishing is now, where it needs to be, and what it needs to do to get there.
In addition the conference will see the announcement of the results of the AOP’s Content And Trends Census
, and a detailed discussion of the findings of the AOP’s Premium Mobile Initiative
