He covers stories about all aspects of the media, including editorial content, programmes and personalities; business and technology; and the regulation and social impact of the media.
Torin has been covering media issues for more than 30 years, including spells on the Economist, The Times, the Sunday Times and the Independent.
For many years he wrote a media column for Marketing Week and before that he was on the staff of Campaign.
He is the author of The Complete Guide to Advertising, a fellow of the Communications Advertising and Marketing (CAM) Foundation and former chairman of the Broadcasting Press Guild.
