Tim Weller is Group Chief Executive and founder of Incisive Media
, a leading B2B information provider serving the financial and professional services markets. Tim floated Incisive Media on the main market of the London Stock Exchange in December 2000 and then took the company private again in December 2006 in a £300m deal.
Outside publishing Tim has wide experience across the media and technology sector. He was non-executive director and chairman of leading independent television producer, RDF Media (maker of internationally successful shows such as Wife Swap
and Faking It
amongst others) from 2005-2010 and Non-executive Chairman of Polestar from 2009-2011 leading its sale to Sun European Partners last year.
He is currently chairman of E-Trader Group, the UK’s leading online marketplace that sells surplus and returned assets on behalf of retailers and wholesalers. He is also Chairman of North Investment Partners.
Tim was also a member of the Shadow Cabinet New Enterprise Council, which advised George Osborne on business and enterprise prior to the 2010 general election. Tim was Chairman of PPA Business and Professional from 2005 to 2008. He is a recipient of the Marcus Morris award and was Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year 2001.
