Mike joined Madgex
five years ago as a software developer working on their recruitment platform, and assisted in building the original Madgex-Haymarket job board solutions. In time his role became more commercially focused, engaging the job board owners more during the development phase.
In 2010 Mike transitioned to an account manager before becoming account director in 2011, and he now works with the biggest Madgex clients, including Centaur, Incisive, RBI, EMAP and William Reed, to support their job board recruitment strategy, international approach and audience profiling.
His technical background and interests are in intelligent profiling of audiences and how to monetise the understanding of who is visiting your web site. Mike is heavily involved in the Madgex product roadmap, ensuring their software-as-a-service approach hits the needs of the clients it serves, while balancing where to invest for the future. Outside of the account management role, Mike acts as business support for new sales and pitches with the Madgex sales team.
Madgex has grown significantly over the last 12 months itself, doubling the client base and having strong international success in markets outside of the UK. The next few months see further development of the mobile platform and a continued view that the multi-channel approach of targeting jobseekers on different mediums is an important part of the future for job boards and assisting their clients to effectively drive revenue from their audiences.
