Greg Beitchman
Greg Beitchman is Global Editor of the Reuters News Agency and joined the company in 1996 in Tokyo as TV producer Japan. In 1997 he moved to New Delhi, to lead Reuter’s investment into Indian news agency ANI, and was later based in Singapore, Brussels and London, leading teams on the ground in East Timor, Afghanistan, and 2003 Iraq.

In 2005 Greg returned to India to become Executive Producer and broadcast talent for Times Now, a JV broadcast channel launched in partnership with Bennet Coleman, India’s largest publisher. In 2007 Greg's role expanded to include responsibility for Reuters consumer facing websites in Japan, China and India.

In 2009 Greg became Global Editor for the Reuters News agency to help lead project Apollo, Reuters plan to transform its media business from a single content source into a multimedia content platform with a range of commercial models. In parallel Greg also recently designed, sold and implemented several high value content deals with RDE customers like CCTV China and the Economic Times in India.

Greg holds a BA in Political Science and East Asian Studies from Colby College, and speaks Japanese, French and Hindi.
