Douglas is an experienced media analyst with 14 years experience in the UK media and entertainment sector, whose strengths lie in qualitative and quantitative research and analysis. Douglas is responsible for the research coverage of the UK print media sector, representing more than 40% of UK advertising expenditure. For each media within the print sector Douglas tracks key companies and undertakes modelling and forecasts.
His specialist areas of expertise include: the migration of print services to online models, the migration of direct response advertising from print-based media to digital media, consumption patterns of print and online media, online business models for traditional publishing companies and online pure-plays.
Prior to Enders Analysis Douglas was Product Director at Fish4, and prior to that was Head of Market Research and Sales Development at Waterstone's.
