Terms and Conditions

1. Total attendance at the AOP Awards 2012 will be limited. AOP reserves the right to decline an application to attend. In the event of a cancellation a 30 per cent administration charge will be made, and refunds cannot be made after 21 June. Reservations for places at the AOP Awards 2012 must be paid for in full by 27 June, otherwise AOP reserves the right to release these bookings. While AOP will endeavour to make amendments to attendee information up to 19 July, any amendments to registrations should be made prior to 27 June, via the AOP site 'amend booking' area to ensure that attendee information is correct at the time of the event.

2. The AOP Awards recognise online publishing excellence achieved specifically in the judging year, 01 January 2011 - 01 January 2012. Please ensure you support your entry with financial or other tangible results achieved in the judging year.

3. Eligibility: With the exception of the ‘Technology Platform’, 'Research and Insight' and 'Ad Operations' categories, only digital publishers may enter the AOP Awards. Digital publishers in this instance are defined as companies whose principal focus is to create original published content for direct consumption by their consumers, via the web ('destination sites') and other digital platforms. The AOP Awards are aimed at companies who operate in the UK.

4. In the event of access details that do not work correctly, AOP will endeavour to contact the entrant to notify them, however this cannot be guaranteed. Please ensure that all passwords/user names work properly before submitting the entry. Judging will take place over two rounds through the March - June 2011 period. It is essential that access details are functional over this time frame.

5. All information received will be treated in the strictest of confidence. All judges sign a confidentiality agreement.

6. Winning entries may be displayed at the AOP Awards event, in the winners brochure or on the AOP website.

7. Submissions must be accompanied by payment and must include VAT entries received without payment by the judging date may not be included in the judging process.

8. The judging panel will be composed of senior management involved with interactive media and the publishing industry. The judges’ decision is final.

9. AOP is unable to accept responsibility for entries that do not reach us.
