Asha Oberoi, Co-Founder, Diagonal view

Asha is a co-founder of Diagonal View, one of the UK’s leading short-form video channel production businesses.

Jointly owned by ITN and Matt Heiman, Diagonal View generates more than 30m video plays across the UK and the USA each month.

Using footage from ITN’s archive business, ITN Source, the video production unit creatively packages and edits content for three online channels; Diagonal View [the other side of normal], UZOO [nature and animals] and The A-List [celebrity] which it distributes across YouTube, MySpace, MSN, Yahoo and other global platforms.

As well as overseeing the growth of Diagonal View, as Content Director of ITN Source, Asha is responsible for maximising the business’s web presence through ITNSource.com and educationcliplibrary.com. Prior to working for Diagonal View and ITN Source, Asha worked as a consultant on the relaunch of ITV.com. She previously held the position of Head of Multimedia at the Press Association and spent four years working on broadband and VOD services for the BBC.
