Edward Roussel is the Digital Editor of the
Telegraph Media Group. Since joining TMG five years ago, Edward has played a central role in restructuring the 500-person newsroom, placing digital media at the heart of the 156-year-old newspaper group.
The global audience of The Telegraph website exceeded 40 million unique users in April 2011, up from 5 million UUs five years ago. Edward has led the Telegraph's expansion into new forms of media including video and mobile.
Edward was previously a managing editor at
Bloomberg, where he headed global coverage of finance. His other positions at Bloomberg, over an 11-year period, included London bureau chief, Paris bureau chief and Brussels bureau chief.
