Membership categories

AOP currently offers four categories of membership:

01 Affiliate membership

Open to publishers. Benefits include: Opportunities to join working parties and project groups; discounts negotiated with suppliers, including training with PPA; discounted rates to AOP events; notification of AOP news and activities (through AOP newsletter); use of AOP logo; networking; use of AOP members' area of website.

02 Full (Board) membership

Open to publishers. Benefits include are as above, plus one voting seat on the AOP Board, and therefore the opportunity to influence the direction of AOP and through it the online publishing industry as a whole.

03 Corporate membership

This membership solution allows associations or institutions to apply for a corporate membership. Benefits are as Affiliate level membership, with the addition of one Board seat which is taken by and elected representative (who represents the interests of the association and not their own company).

04 Associate  membership

Associate membership is designed to develop and encourage strong partnerships between member publishing companies and their trading partners, to give profile and recognition to reliable suppliers and to enable those suppliers to enjoy the same services and benefits as publisher members.
